The client operates a sour gas network and fuel gas sweetening units supplying gas (sour, sweet and semisweet) to compressor gas turbines and power generation turbines across multiple facilities. The project aim is to reduce SO2 emissions in line with emissions targets and local environmental regulations. An integrated sweet fuel gas distribution system is installed to integrate existing and future fuel gas users (Compressor Gas Turbines and Power Plant Gas Turbines) and fuel gas sources (Fuel Gas Sweetening Units (FGTUs) and Sour Gas suppliers).
The initial phase of the project is to build a sweet fuel gas finger distribution system. The scope of work also includes back-up sour fuel gas available to all users in the event of insufficient sweet gas supply.
