  • COKER++®

COKER++®

COKER++® is a Delayed Coker Unit designed by AstraConcepts for maximum efficiency, recovery and productivity.  AstraConcepts utilizes state-of-art shell and tube heat exchangers designed to minimize fouling and enhanced energy recovery.  Remainder of heat is provided by the furnace, which is designed to minimize coking and maximize heat recovery through the convection section.  A pump around Boiler and a Waste Heat Recovery Unit (WHRU) is used to generate steam for steam stripping and furnace steam.  The tower is designed with conventional trays, allowing for increasing capacity through random and structured packing.  Special focus is provided to the wash section to minimize entrainment and enhance recovery of Heavy Coker Gas Oils (HCGO).  Tower temperature profile is maintained to maximize pump-around heat driving force and minimize localized corrosion.

Key Benefits

  • Production of Gasoline, PP and BB from VTB

  • Efficient recovery of HCGO

  • Maximum energy efficiency

  • Minimum equipment and capital cost

  • Flexible to handle various VTBs

  • Minimum coking

  • Efficient use of water for steam generation

  • Optional: Water Treatment unit to recycle Water.
